my newest piece, titled SOMETIMES I WONDER. this piece is truly a labor of love. it features rare and delicate antique book pages and vintage wallpaper i collected in my travels through eastern europe. and it it painstakingly collaged with layer upon layer of dainty tissue paper to create a play on transparencies and textures. i played with fire quite a bit to get the tissue paper edges just right. shhhh! don’t tell! ;) hand painted, the words “sometimes i wonder” float between layers of transparency. i hope this piece inspires you to dream a little and explore the possibilities.
